Where and when does land of plenty take place?
Land of Plenty Music Festival takes place on Saturday, 2 November 2019. The festival is being held at the Shepparton Showgrounds in Shepparton, Victoria.
how old do i have to be to attend?
Yes! Land of Plenty is for music lovers of all ages. That said, due to the expected large and excitable crowd, the festival is more appropriate for people aged 15+. Anyone under the age of 15 is recommended to attend the event with an adult.
will there be a shuttle service?
Yes! There will be shuttles available. If you live in a neighbouring towns, there will be official Land of Plenty shuttles available. If you are travelling from Melbourne, Shepparton Showgrounds is less than a 5 minute walk from the train station. Visit our TRAVEL PAGE for more information.
is there a drop off/pick up area?
Yes! We do not support drink driving. If you are driving to Land of Plenty and plan on drinking, we recommend travelling by Taxi, Uber, catching a ride or via public transportation to the festival. There will be a dedicated Drop Off / Pick Up Zone near the Showgrounds.
how far is it from melbourne?
Shepparton is just over 2 hours from Melbourne when driving in a vehicle. Train’s also run frequently between Southern Cross Station & Shepparton. For more information on how to get to Shepparton, please visit our TRAVEL PAGE .
HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO BUY TICKETS?
You can purchase tickets as long as you have a Moshtix account and valid credit card. GA tickets are available to persons of any age. The Big Apple VIP ticket must be purchased by persons 18 years of age or older.
Can i buy a ticket for someone else?
Yes, you can purchase a ticket for someone else however orders cannot be split up. If you purchase for someone else with multiple tickets in one order, you will have to have the ticket holders name and email address ready when purchasing. All tickets require the person’s name to be on it.
do you offer payment plans?
Yes! You can BUY NOW and PAY LATER using MOSHTIX Time to Pay. A fee of $9.95 is charged to use this service. (3) monthly payments are made until the cost of your ticket is repaid. For more information, visit the MOSHTIX website.
what is your refund policy?
All Land of Plenty ticket purchases are final sales, no refunds or exchanges. The festival takes place rain or shine.
i need to change the name on my ticket?
We get it, sometimes plans change. In order to complete a name change, you will need to login to your Moshtix account and choose the ‘name change’ option. Ticket Reissues incur a cost of $15. Make sure you have the name & email of the person who will be receiving the new ticket.
can i purchase a ticket over the phone or in person?
Yes. If you live in the Greater Shepparton Area - we recommend visiting the Riverlinks Box Office at Eastbank. Friendly staff are available to help you between 10am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
Can i bring alcohol into the main entertainment area?
No! Both alcohol and soft drinks are not permitted. The event area is licensed with plenty of bars for you to pickup what you need. There will also be be mocktail and soft drink bars for those looking for an alcohol free choice.
can i bring in chairs, picnic blankets or rugs?
Sounds comfy but no chairs, picnic setups or food and drink can be brought in. There will be plenty of areas to sit, stand or seek shade if needed. The Showgrounds is a beautiful space with lush green grass for hanging out between sets. There is also a covered, seated grandstand for those looking to sit.
Apart from the obvious illegal things, you CANNOT bring:
Alcohol, Glass of any kind (Bottles, Jars etc), Gas Bottles, BBQs or cooking devices of any kind (Triangas, nitros bulbs etc), Pets, Generators, Fireworks or Flares, Fire Sticks & Poy, Lasers, Drones, Furniture including camping chairs, no weapons, no illicit substances.
MOST of all no bad vibes or arrogant attitudes!
IS THERE A CLOAK ROOM?
Sure is! There is a cloak room available just outside of the gates to check any items that may be refused entry such as chairs, prams, big backpacks, picnic sets, umbrellas etc. Inside the gates you will also have the option to cloak smaller items like jackets or small backpacks.
do i have to wear My wristband the entire time?
Yes, your wristband is your festival pass. If you are caught without a wristband, you will be removed from the festival. If you are caught without ever having a ticket, you will be handed over to the authorities.
WHAt is your re-entry policy?
For safety reasons, once you’ve entered the festival gates, no passout’s are available. Soz.
will you be needing event volunteers?
Yes! Volunteering is a great way to experience the festival. Volunteer applications are COMING SOON. Keep an eye on our socials for updates!
CAN I BRING PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION?
Prescription medication is permitted on the grounds, under the following conditions:It must be in the original prescription bottle. Patron must have photo ID that matches the name on the prescription. Should security have any questions regarding the authenticity of the prescription, they are able to radio to the Medical Tent for assistance.
what is the food policy for those with dietary needs?
We have security check points in and out of the festival grounds. Patrons are permitted to bring limited snacks, ones that fit into their small back pack, as well as one sealed water bottle. We suggest that you wear a Medic-Alert bracelet or have documentation with you which identifies yourself and your reason for the additional products, as you are processed through security check points.
IS THE SITE ACCESSIBLE?
Yes. The site is accessible. All restroom areas are portable toilets. These are accessible to our patrons with accessible needs. Land of Plenty along with our friends at Riverlinks are proud to be an affiliate of the Victorian Companion Card Company. Companion Card promotes the right of people with a disability, who require a companion, to fair ticketing at Victorian events and venues.
